Connect Meta Ads to MCP360

How to connect your Facebook and Instagram ad accounts to MCP360 via OAuth.

What Permissions MCP360 Requests

When connecting Meta Ads, MCP360 requests the following OAuth scopes:

  • **ads_management** — Create, edit, and manage campaigns, ad sets, and ads
  • **ads_read** — Read campaign performance data and insights
  • **business_management** — Access Business Manager settings and ad accounts
  • MCP360 uses these permissions only to execute tools you explicitly call. All access is logged in the audit trail.

Step 1: Start the OAuth Flow

  • Go to [Dashboard → Accounts](/dashboard/accounts)
  • Click **Connect** next to **Meta Ads**
  • You'll be redirected to Facebook's authorization page
  • Step 2: Authorize in Facebook

  • Log in to Facebook if prompted
  • Select the ad accounts you want to connect
  • Click **Continue** to grant access
  • You'll be redirected back to MCP360 with your account connected.

Step 3: Get Your MCP Endpoint

After connecting, your Meta Ads MCP endpoint will be:

    https://meta-ads.mcp.mcp360.net/

Copy this URL and your API key into your AI client config.

    What MCP Tools Are Available

Once connected, you can ask your AI:

  • "List all my Meta campaigns sorted by ROAS"
  • "Show me my Meta audience breakdown by age group"
  • "Pause campaigns with CPA above $50"
  • "Create a lookalike audience from my top purchasers"
  • "Show me my Meta account performance this week"
  • Troubleshooting

"Ad account not showing" — Make sure you selected the correct ad accounts during OAuth authorization.

"Permission denied" — Your Facebook account may not have admin access to the business ad account. Ask your Meta Business Manager admin to grant access.

"Token expired" — Go to Dashboard → Accounts and click Reconnect for the Meta account.
