Audit Your Meta Campaigns with Claude

Learn how to use Claude Desktop and MCP360 to run a complete Meta Ads audit in 5 minutes.

Overview

This guide walks you through auditing your entire Meta Ads account using Claude Desktop and MCP360. You'll identify wasted spend, fatigued creatives, and optimization opportunities in under 10 minutes.

Prerequisites

  • [Claude Desktop connected to MCP360](/guides/claude-desktop)
  • At least one Meta Ads account connected in [Dashboard → Accounts](/dashboard/accounts)
  • The Audit Prompts

Run these prompts in Claude Desktop in sequence:

    1. Account Overview

Show me my Meta Ads account overview for the last 30 days.
Include total spend, ROAS, CPA, and top 5 campaigns sorted by ROAS.

    2. Identify Underperformers

Find all my Meta campaigns with CPA above $50 or ROAS below 2x
in the last 14 days. Only include campaigns with at least $200 spend.

    3. Creative Fatigue Check

Check my Meta ads for creative fatigue: find any ad with frequency
above 3.5 or where CTR has declined more than 20% week-over-week.

    4. Audience Performance

Break down my Meta campaign performance by audience type:
prospecting vs retargeting vs lookalike. Which audience type
delivers the best ROAS and CPA?

    5. Budget Optimization

Based on the last 30 days of Meta performance data, where should
I reallocate budget to maximize ROAS? Show current vs recommended
    allocation with projected impact.

What to Do with the Results

    After Claude returns the analysis:

  • **Pause** campaigns with CPA above your target and at least 14 days of data
  • **Refresh creatives** with frequency above 3.5 — you'll need new ad creative
  • **Scale** campaigns with ROAS above 4x that haven't hit their daily budget cap
  • **Test** new lookalike percentages for top-performing custom audiences
  • Automating This Audit

Set up a weekly scheduled report in Dashboard → Reports to get this analysis emailed to your team every Monday morning.
