Set Up Approval Workflows for Your Agency

Configure MCP360 approval workflows to ensure every AI write operation gets reviewed.

Overview

Approval workflows protect your clients from unintended AI-initiated changes. Any write operation above a configurable threshold creates an approval request instead of executing immediately.

Configuring Budget Safety Thresholds

  • Go to [Dashboard → Settings](/dashboard/settings)
  • Click the **Budget Safety** tab
  • Configure:
  • - Require approval for changes above: $5,000 (default)

    - Max single budget increase: 50% of current budget

    - Cooldown between budget changes: 5 minutes

    Testing Approval Workflows

    Ask Claude to make a large budget change:

    Increase the budget for my top Meta campaign to $10,000/day

    If the change exceeds your threshold, Claude will respond:

    "This operation requires manager approval: Budget change of $10,000 exceeds approval threshold of $5,000. An approval request has been created."

    Reviewing and Approving Requests

  • Go to [Dashboard → Approvals](/dashboard/approvals)
  • You'll see the pending request with full context:
  • - Who (which AI client) requested it

    - What they're requesting (exact budget change)

    - Which campaign it affects

  • Click **Approve** or **Reject**
  • The approved action executes immediately; rejections notify the requester
  • Notification Settings

    Go to Settings → Notifications to configure:

  • Email notifications when a new approval request is created
  • Slack webhook for real-time team alerts (coming soon)

  • Set lower thresholds for junior team members' API keys
  • Require approval for all campaign pauses on client accounts
  • Set a 24-hour expiration on approval requests
